Highlights of Zimbabwe
Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls or Mosi-oa-Tunya “the smoke that thunders” as the locals call it is a bucket list tick for sure. To explore the national park along the edge of the gorge allows you to really experience the falls which are the neither the highest or widest in the world but are the largest in the world at more than 1.7km wide and 100m high with the spray reaching up to 800m in the air when in full flood.
Zambezi River
The Zambezi river which flows over the falls offers great river cruises and world class white-water rafting.
