With its wide open spaces, excellent gravel road network, incredible scenery and epic wildlife experiences, Namibia is an overland traveller’s dream!

It’s a country we go back to time and time again, drawn by the ruggedness and the feeling of peace that comes from sitting around a campfire in the desert after another incredible day of exploration and adventure.

Highlights of Namibia

Dunes of Sossusvlei

No visit to Namibia would be complete without experiencing the beauty of the Namib-Naukluft National Park around Sossusvlei. There are a number of attractions to explore including Sesriem Canyon, Dune 45 (pictured), Hiddenvlei, Big Daddy and Deadvlei.

There is also some great sand driving available for those visiting with 4x4s.

Etosha National Park

With its wide open spaces, waterholes and abundance of animals, a self-drive safari in Etosha National Park is always a highlight. Waterholes bring large congregations of animals together, and there are frequent sightings of cheetah, leopard, lion, elephant, rhino and giraffe. For the twitchers amongst us, Etosha boasts incredible bird life, including up to 35 species of birds of prey.

Daramaraland & Kaokoveld

The Kunene region of north-west Namibia is home to Damaraland and the Kaokoveld.

Damaraland is characterised by rocky and rugged landscapes of rough, fascinating beauty. Further north, the Kaokoveld is bordered by the Kunene River to the north, and it is home to the Himba, the last true nomads of Namibia, who trek through the area in search of water and good pastures.
